The mom and the dad always have someplace to go.  So we are always traveling.  And guess what?  The girl and I  have this traveling stuff down.  I alert, she checks her blood glucose.  The mom or the dad drive.  Easy.  But seriously, this is pretty awesome that the girl checks her own blood glucose in the car.  Then the mom or the dad can either get her a juice box if she’s low….or pull over so they can give her insulin to bring down a high blood glucose.

But aways, I was proud of the girl for this.  Oh, and I’m proud of me for alerting in the car.  It’s not easy.  But I make it happen!
