The girl needed a hug on the last day of Preschool. I was there for her. As always. Even though it was super uncomfortable. And the mom wasn’t too happy about the precarious position I was in.
But sometimes, the girl just needs a hug. And not an alert. And not pestering. Just a hug. And sometimes, just some shiny black fur to cry into. And I do a good job at that. Oh, and alerting too. When she needs it. But here, she just needed love. Whatever. Don’t judge. I do love her. And I hate to see her cry. I dare you. Look at that face and not feel compassion.
