So the girl likes to give me kisses sometimes. Well, all the time really. She loves me. And who can blame her? Right?
Anyways, I like it when she gives me kisses. And not because I actually like the kisses, because I don’t! (do you know how many germs a human carries?!?! GAG) I like her kisses because she breathes on me while she’s kissing me. So I have an easier time knowing what her BG is since the smell first comes from her breath. I don’t even have to sniff her out, she comes to me! It’s like she’s doing 80% of my job for me.
And maybe I do like the kisses and snuggles.
Darwin, I wish I could have kisses, but I know the Mom and the Grandma say, “No, kissing Abby! Abby rolls around in dirty things!”
That’s true. I am a ranch dog, plus I don’t get my teeth brushed the way
you do, Darwin. Still, I like you. You earn those kisses.
Your dusty friend, Abby
Darwin, you and the little girl have such great chemistry!
That was beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes, because my 5 yr. old grandson has Type 1 Diabetes and his family would like a Darwin in their life.
